Q: Whats cost for you to swap out a 5.7 to 6.1 at your shop for me?

A: The cost of the 6.1 engine is $5850. It will cost about $3200 in labor to take out the 5.7 and install the 6.1. You will need to reprogram your ECU and change the wiring harness for $545 together. You have exhaust options ranging from $600 to $1500 depending on your preference.

We will buy your old 5.7, which will reduce the cost to some extent.

We can swap the engines in our shop and do a chassis dyno evaluation as part of the installation cost.
